Warwick Road, Tyseley

I worked for Toney Cox at Warwick Road Service Station form 1973 -1983 starting off as a driver then working in the parts department when we moved down the Warwick Road to a much bigger building around 1976 . The showroom was at Stratford Road where Moskvich then Lada cars were sold along with Lotus cars. Looking back now I worked with many great people , I dont have any photos but many memories if I can help the OP in any way

Still standing even now , but can't see from that side because railways dont keep there embankments clear, no sparks from steam trains but why we get leaves on the lines. From the road side, Wharfdale Rd

Railway embankments, during steam train days, were usually fired up on the grass sections, which kept the embankment or cutting in a maintained appearance. I remember, as a school boy seing sections of the North Warwickshire line (Tyseley to Stratford upon Avon) treated in that manner.
