Ward family of The Grove, Mount Pleasant, Small Heath

William Ward died aged 33 in his home at 5 The Grove, Mount Pleasant, Small Heath, Birmingham on 5th May 1928. I would very much like to learn more about William & his family so if anyone can shed any light at all I would be most grateful please ~ William was the brother of my paternal grandfather who sadly I know very little about.
His death certificate shows the informant as being his wife Mrs E Ward. I have no idea whether they had any children prior to his early death ~ it would be good to be able to learn of offspring which could lead to find distant cousins.
Any help or ideas as to how I could learn more about the family would be most welcome.

Have just posted thsi elsewhere for you, but will repeat;
Not much, but the electoral roll for 1920 shows just Mary Dingley listed. 1925 shows William & Ellen Ward with a Mary Dingley at the Grove. In 1930 it was just Ellen and Mary Dingley, and in 1925 it was just Mary Dingley, and in 1939 Mary Dingley & Frederick Thomas Dando and Amelia Dando

Looking through the marriage records, there is a marriage between William Ward & Ellen Dingley, A/M/J of 1919.
The transcribers (Ancestry) have a number different, hence it's hard to find.
6d 369 or 6d 569

This would mean that Mary & Arthur were her kin....

Here's where I show my ignorance!! ................
Can anyone tell me what the letters O, R, HO, Rw & Ow stand for which appear before the family names please.
