GONE BUT NOT FORGOTTEN
This is a photo of me as a very well nourished war baby, (2nd not 1st !!)
My hair is now as straight as a poker, but the tum looks about right!

Although I am not a prude sorry can't allow Nudie photos on this page, post them where young men like JY and myself can't see them.:D

That's a nice photo Di. At least they let you keep your clothes on!
Sorry Alf: next one I post will be fully clothed I promise.
Yes Lloyd, I've still got the cheeky smile - and probably a similar amount of teeth!

Right that's it the gauntlet has been thrown and I will pick it up.

This is a picture of me before I found my Mom's scissors and cut off the curls. Well how was I to know the waves would one day wave goodbye?

Well...looks like I win the dried-egg and snoek pie eating contest - with Spam fritters on the side!

Here's me in WW2 and I must admit I look fairly well nourished, perhaps it was the chewing gum etc we used to cadge off the Yanks from the Pheasey Camp. Kids were just as daft then as today, because I remember our gang daring each other to touch an unexploded bomb which had landed in the street and we could see it though a gap in the sandbags covering it. No police anywhere near it and it made a change from collecting shrapnel !
I look a bit tense in the earlier left hand photo - perhaps it was after the bomb was dropped on our house when I was in it. In the right hand photo I look a bit happier - perhaps I had got used to air raids.

Butter wouldn't melt in my mouth.

My mother told me I was a good little boy and mommy would not lie - would she?

Oh how the years have altered the mold. Will.

Typical of you Charlie, still taking them off at the bra do's and you call me naughty...Cat

OK, here I am a few years later - and slightly slimmer!
Crikey, that chair at Jeromes got a lot of use didn't it?
(Sorry about the white 'flash' on the photo - it's a photograph of a photograph I'm afraid.)

Lovely photo Charlie. Didn't we scrub up well considering we managed with one cold water tap in the house.
