In the 1911 census,Mary Ann is listed as Edward's wife
in the 1901 a Mary Ann of the same year of birth is listed as sister (with Edward Walker and William Guest) ?

William Horace GUEST was baptised 5 October, 1898 at St. Michaels & All Angels Church, Bartley Green. His mother, a single woman, was Mary Ann GUEST living in Woodgate. No other information in register. Mary married Edward WALKER 21 October, 1899 (same church). Her father was Abel and Edward's Thomas. Both lived in Woodgate. William Horace WALKER married 1933 (same church) and buried 1947 (same church). His burial plot is noted in our churchyard records. If the granddaughter wants to get in touch, ask her to make contact through our website (bgdhg.co.uk)

Hi

I'm just wondering how/if this fits into my family tree.

My GGGrandmother was Hannah Guest b1879. Her father was William Thomas Guest b 1847 he was living in Woodgate up until he gets married (he no longer lives there in the 1881 census). Prior to that his father William Guest b1820 is living in Woodgate in the 1841 census.

According to this website they are living at 9-11 Woodgate in 1861 if you scroll to half way down this webpage you will see them mentioned with reference to the picture of the nailhouses shown https://www.bdlha.org/historian/birmingham-nail/birmingham-nail.htm

It seems to me they must be related to your Guest / Walkers.

Sarah
