Wadlow william edward1897-1904 died 7 yrs old

I've just come across a child that died in the family aged 7yrs old in 1904 is there any way that someone could see if they have any access to any info papers obits ect or where to find any info other than having to pay for death cert any help would be great thanks:) liz

If you have a Library Card, then you should be able to get access from your home PC through the Library to the online newspapers. There are not many local ones yet but there is the Birmingham Daily Post and The Times.

Do you have to go into a library to do this or can I access it at home?

I can access it at home and as far as I know all Libraries in England offer it. I just go to my Library's webpage and type in the barcode number on my Library Card and a whole other world is opened up to me in my armchair.

I joined up with Lancashire Library https://www.lancashire.gov.uk/onrl/premiums.asp as I was doing family research of the area. They sent me the card in a couple of days even though I live the other end of the country! But as I say I think all libraries offer this

It is just my library card - no idea what carn is (please do let me know - I might be missing something!)

its a card to access the county archive research network libary asked to o thisso they have it registered who uses the research just like libary card

Aidan it is the libary card barcode not the carn card i need to go into libary to get a card thank you for that it means i will be able to see from home thank you for letting me know. This site and it's users just keeps coming up trumps. :)
