Originally they seem to be part of the original buildings at Aston Lower Grounds (https://birminghamhistory.co.uk/forum/threads/aston-lower-grounds.15945/), which apparently included an aquarium, art gallery and other items.

There is more on this area of the ground in the previous thread "Aston Villa History" (opened 2/4/12 & last post 1/4/26) from page 7 post #183 onwards. Mark, last night was a night that will live in Villa fans memories that were in Istanbul, as long as the last such occasion has, for those of us that were in Rotterdam 44 years ago. UTV!No - it was the old Villa offices - when the North Stand was completed they were moved into the stand and the old buildings were demolished.
And now - and I dont care if anyone moans its not history or off thread - WELL DONE TO THE VILLA LAST NIGHT!!!!!!!!!!!!![]()

Perhaps the council are all Bluenoses?it's a pity the council are unable to allow today's victory parade to go to Victoria Square and to allow the team to appear on the balcony of the Council House with the cup on grounds of "safety concerns" and "ongoing works". There was a time, not so long ago (see below), when it was always arranged for a winning team to be able to do this. The victory parade instead heads to Centenary Square, where the club had asked if they could put up a stage, but again this request was refused on grounds of "the risk of overcrowding".

We got there early at 2.30 to get near front.....exhausting hours to wait and then the main bus didn't park in middle ....as well as it being low down on the tramway......good job we was near the screen though.....BUT no idea HOW they laid on all this in very few hours since winning....HS2 needs to ask as that is just stupid taking decades.Perhaps the council are all Bluenoses?
