Victoria Road Aston

My late Dad Walter (Wally) Taylor was born in the mid-1940s and lived at 13 Victoria Road until, I assume, the early 1960s. He died a couple of years ago, and I've looked up the address to see it has since been demolished. Does anybody know when that side of the street was flattened, and why?

Are there any photos or maps of what that area was like before it was knocked down?

All help appreciated - and looks a great forum here. A great asset.

hi and welcome..maybe someone could post a map for you as a start that shows where no 13 was...i will have a look in my files for any old photos as i am not sure when it was demolished
