Tyso Boot And Shoe Works

I think it may have been on the corner of Westley Road and New Street Erdington. Westley Road was an unadopted road that ran off Station Road along the side of the railway track.

Mike - in 1940 Kelly's they are listed at 79 New Street and also 44 and 254 High street all Erdington. Also 133 Sutton Road Erdington.

Well the building has been replaced by housing it seems.
I could find little, through a search, about this former company. There was a suggestion that the family had connections with Leicester in the past, a place known for boots and shoes.

The only thing I found was this advert for staff in a Birmingham Gazette in 1940.
