Yes, I agree with what you're saying but this was in the specific dance hall room in the pub which you had to pay to get into, not the general bar where folks might want to chat.
 
I used to travel from Aston with my girlfriend (Jean) to the Tyburn House Disco and we loved it! I think it used to be on a Thursday night in 1971?
