Turner family, button makers of Birmingham

Lesley Mary Close

Brummie babby
John Turner, button maker of Heath Green in Birmingham who died 1840, was my great great great grandfather. He was in business with someone called Hammond (possibly Bonham) and someone called Dickenson (possibly John) and they produced some excellent metal buttons, stamped very clearly with the name 'Hammond Turner and Dickenson.'
John Turner is a very common name and I have chased it up many a blind alley: can anyone help shed some light on my particular John Turner?
His will appears on my website https://www.onefivenine.info/buttons.html (near the bottom of the page) and I'd love to hear from anyone who recognises the name from their own tree...
