Turner Brothers Toolmakers

No Turner Machine Tools and Turner Bros. (B'ham)Ltd. were not connected
Only a memory, no pictures etc. available but in 1960's my wife worked in a team that produced "The Turner Calendar" quite a glossy production. Anyone have any recollection? Sort of like the famous Michelin Calendar but made in Brum.
Not sure which "Turner's" the calendar would have been for. Anyone know?

My dad worked at Turner Bros in 60s - 70s -George Tooth. I used to love the childrens’ Christmas parties in the canteen. I can still remember the smell of oil when we passed through the factory. Loved the cartoons (we didn’t have a telly at home).I think the workers saved a bit out of their wages each week towards the present from Father Christmas. Happy times!

have you read this thread from post 1 as there are photos taken in 1939 of the companys dinner dance...a group of workers on fishing trip and workers of turners who formed their own home guard unit during the war...your grandad could be on any of the photos
