Rookery Road Methodist church in Handsworth, was a former Primitive Methodist chapel. It was brick built and accommodated 470 people on pews. In addition to the worship area, there were 2 Sundays school rooms and 8 other rooms. It had suffered war damage.
Originally a corrugated iron tin tabernacle stood on the site in Rookery Road. The present church was built in 1914 under the direction of Rev. Harvey Rowe. The architects were Harper and son of Nottingham.
It's last service was in 2016.
