Travellers Rest, Bristol Road Northfield

In 1927 the old pub was replaced by a new building in an Arts & Crafts design, designed by C.E.Bateman. Originally with a thatched roof , which, not long after, caught fire. The roof was understandably replaced by slate. The pub, regretfully, has been demolished, as have so many
