TRANTER GUN AND PISTOL FACTORY ASTON CROSS

many thanks pedro thats a lot of info which i found very interesting and as seen by the map it stood on quite a sizeable ground although my photo only shows the warehouse..i wonder if they found any weapons or ammo when they cleared the site

According to the reference above there is an article by Nie & Bailey "William Tranter, gunmaker to the trade" in Gun Collectors digest e by J.J. Schroeder 3rd Ed. pub DBI books, 1981 pp154-164, though I would think that might be a little hard to access
