I have found that my mother's uncle owned a toy and fancy goods shop at 193 Soho Road as recorded in the 1921 census. He was called Walter Edwin Leech. Judging by Sreet view there don't seem to be buildings from that era so if anyone has information or even photographs that would be really appreciated

yes you are correct the shop is no longer there..if you click on the link below to the map you will see where no 193 was..just after the ninevah road junction..move the blue dot to the left to see what is there now..we also have a large thread for soho road so you maybe lucky to find a photo of the shop..just use the search box..hope this helps
