This weekend sees the Tolkien do again at Sarehole Mill. Part of the festivities will be trips for a modest fee on the preserved Birmingham City Transport Daimler bus 3225 to places in Edgbaston connected to Tolkien and his writing. This year only two trips on each day will be run so less opportunity to sample the delights of 1950's travel. Yours truly is at the wheel so if you happen to be planning on visiting the Mill over the weekend, come and say hello.
