Timmins Lucy

I have really hit a brick wall here. On the 1911 census Lucy is shown as 1 month old to Isaac and Emma Timmins living in Wharf Terrace. From thereon I cannot find her anywhere, even in the deaths. Can someone see if they can find her anywhere - been looking for months but absolutely nothing. Thanks

Re: Lucy timmins

Carol, on the electoral rolls, it seems that Isaac and Emma had move to 1 back of 185 Devonshire Street, All Saints ward by 1920, Emma is alone at the same address from 1927, if that is any help Lucy is not on the rolls with Emma from what Ican see, but wouldn't have been included until she was 21 (or could be 25)
Could have moved again before Devonshire Street too, in 1912, Isaac is at back of 20 Wharf Street, no detail of number, so could still be Wharf Terrace.

Re: Lucy timmins

Sue thanks Lucy is the only one I cant find out of the 13 children. I know 2 had died but I cant even remember my mom ever talking about her.

Hi Carolina, There doesn't appear to be a birth registered for a Lucy Timmins 1910/1911?
The census was taken in the April, so the birth would have March 1911. Perhaps they han't registered her birth before the census, then they changed their mind about her christian name?

I thought she may have been registered with a different name, the only birth I can see for qtr is Violet Timmins.

I have had a look at my family tree and the only other person born in 1911 is Emily Timmins (Aunt Pem). So perhaps it is one and the same person. I have some good news as I was reading Devonshire Street on Ted Rudge's site I saw a reference to a Mr Timmins who was a glass blower. As the eldest one on my mother's side was a glass blower, I put a message on Ted's site to see if anyone had relatives associated to Edwin Timmins and I was delighted to have an answer on his site from his grandson who said his father (Edwin's son) was still alive at 85 and living in Halesowen. I am really chuffed at this and hopefully we will be able to meet.
