Can anyone help in finding a birth for him. I was with him yesterday and he asked me to find out if I could, where he was baptised, but I cant even find a birth for him on Ancestry or IGI. He said he was born out of wedlock (a lovely old fashioned saying). He was born 1917 in Winson Green. His parents were Edwin Isaac Timmins B1901 and Doris A A Davies. Thanks Carol

There's an Edwin I B Timmins, mother's maiden name Davies, registered Jun 1927 Bham N freeBMD. Can't find any others.

Marriage of Edwin Isaac Timmins to Doris A A Davies in December 1926 both of them were born 1901, whilst he was not born out of wedlock he was born a short time after.

MWS thanks for that its funny its not ancestry as his brothers Harold and Dennis are. Alberta, I will tell him he was not born 'out of wedlock'. He was so embarrassed to even tell me that. What a different world today. Edwin (Ted) is my cousin.
 
Jukebox - thanks. I never knew there was an extra 'B' in his name, he has never mentioned it. Perhaps that is why I didnt see it on Ancestry. Carol
