Tibbitts Birmingham pre 1790 origins?

Good morning,
Just trying to track down information in regards to a Moses Tibbitts (-1816) (my 4th great grandfather) who was father to John Henry Tibbitts in 1790 in Birmingham but I cannot find any earlier records of Moses Tibbitts (he was a steel stud maker) and where he came from? It is speculated that he came from West Bromwich but I cannot find anything of where he came from.
Any help would be great

The only things I can see is his burial which gives dob as 1750 and what appears to be a late baptism in 1775 which gives a similar dob of 1752. Sadly it doesn't appear to list parents.

If this means he converted, was just baptised late or simply moved parish I don't know.

Only other suggestion (if you haven't already) is trace all his children and hope you come across a relative you can track back from.

Thank you both. I have found out that he was buried in St Mary's Chapelry which was deconsecrated and the hospital was extended over the land. Not sure what happened to the bodies but supposedly the inscriptions are in the Birmingham Library. Does any of that make sense?
