Does anyone have any info on a Charles Thompson and Ada Orton who were married in Birmingham in 1894, especially their parents' names? Thanks in advance.
 
Marriage cert says both Father's were called William.
Census suggests Mother's are Jane Orton and Caroline Thompson if I have the correct families.
 
looking at their marriage cert on ancestry marr aug 6th 1894 at st pauls church (jewellery quarter)
father of charles was william thompson occupation porter and father of ada was william orton but cant make out his occupation...are you subscribed to ancestry as it looks like all their records are on there so should be easy to find out their mothers names

i have also moved this thread to our surnames section of the forum
