Hi , I wonder if anyone has access to Ancestry.com my account has finished today.
On the public member tree there is a tree the name of OLLEY F/TREE
its for THOMAS GRADY B 1834 MIDDLESEX . mother is ANN father is THOMAS
I need the tree details please.

hello sandra the tree just says thomas grady 1834 father thomas grady 1796 mother ann 1798-1882

wife amelia josephine pike 1836 newington surrey

son of thomas and amelia is thomas 1853

amelias parents william pike 1817 and amelia j crouch 1817

hope this is what you wanted
they also say born in spittlefields and living in clerkenwell middx. Brass founder as occupation. i think this is a different thomas grady as your thomas grady was a boiler maker.

just found on 1851 census the following living in clerkenwell middx

thomas grady 55yrs born ireland cork artifical florist employing 6 women
ann grady 53yrs born shoreditch middx
mary ann grady 20yrs b. spittlefields
thomas grady 17yrs b. spittlefields brass founder fireman
alice lawson 12yrs house servant
and AMELIA PIKE 14 yrs visitor artificial florist b. newington surrey

this is obviously the family from the tree you asked for as thomas went on to marry amelia pike but your thomas married a catherine.
hope im not confusing things more!

Hi Christine, Thanks for doing the look up, Someone has contacted me through Ancestry saying that Elizabeth Grady B1863 was her GTGT Grandmother she let me view the tree she has done and it says that Thomas GRADY b1833/4 had a sister Mary B1831 brother James B1840 and their parents were Thomas B1794 Ann 1798.
She believed this was correct and she has gone back to 1500.
The children she has on the tree are the same ones we have for Thomas and Catherine.
Very confusing with the birthdates
In 1861Thomas senior is living with wife Ann . its looks like children have left home.
Very confusing why did I start this?

i would just say be very cautious until you have certificates etc as it looks to me as if two families are being merged into one.
the thomas grady born spittlefields middx and the thomas grady born deptford middx.

hope you manage to sort it out in the end.
