Then & Now

I did not suggest that TB 47 was not powered as the single trolley pole was connected to the overhead wire in the photograph which was quite a clear view of the scene. I also referred to the photograph of TB 47 as a "might have been" possibility and not wishing to make a factual comment.
 
Completely agree. But then I am always very dubious about people who name themselves "designers", though especially when it is in the field of clothing for women, and sometimes men.
 
An interesting then and now, where the “now” is a great improvement. First is a picture by Paul Williams in 2008 when a design company have defaced this great building. On the corner of Great Hampton Row and Constitution Hill.
The Google picture shows a great restoration I believe.

the old gothic pub now completely refurbished...spent many a happy hour in there back in the day and i also have one of their old pub tokens

Was'nt thw Surfside Stop coffe bar on this side of that building in the 60's ? I realise my mistake now the SS started just after the arched doors,
