Does anybody know what happened to the Duffell/Duffield Family that used to run the Windmill back around 1950 ?
They are relatives of my mother and we are trying to track down any descendants .
Thankyou

Hi :o)
Do you remember what their christian names were by any chance ? Long shot I know !
My Great Grandad was A Thomas Duffell.
We are having a bit of an issue trying to decide when they went from Duffield to Duffell, as it seems to vary through the years.
I believe the ones at the Windmill used Duffell ?

An elderly couple I have known for a number of years used to run The Windmill. They are both still alive so I will only reveal their christian names, Grace and Harry.

Grace and Harry have a son aged about 45 now, but he was a schoolchild when he lived at the pub.

Trevor I think the son went to school with my twins before his parents took over The Windmill. Did he have blonde hair and loved competitive football?. I think I have a photo of him?. Jean.
