Just been informed that the Uplands Handsworth is as flat as a pancake,
how did this happen?.

We used to live at the top of Sandwell rd, this pub was at the bottom. Had many a drink in there in the 60's
 
I worked there one summer holiday - in the "less smart" bar at the back - flippin' hard work! No fancy tills to work out the totals in them days! Had to do it all in your head!
