Does any body recall the tilt hammer at saltley gate
and can any body tell me is it still there it was a rough house
always a fight and the windows always getting smashed
especily during the seventies i know eventualy it did fianal go down the pipe they introduced topless barmaids on a sunday morning to draw customers in whe a pub starts that game its the end of the line for a pub either thator introduce the pound a pint
left over lager by that i mean the barrel is out of date
rather send it back with the dray menthey would sell it off to recoup some of is barrelege just to please there area managers
then weathspoon came along and picked up a soloution they would have all out of date beers send it up north and docerite with another chemicial which would expand its life for another ten days andthey would se nd it out to certain clubs=
that is a fact its not my presumption i had this from a director from weather spoons from when they first set up in brum but getting back tothe ols tilt it was a wicked place to drink and the gents toilets used to be out side wicked in the winter days and even worse if it snowed the ladies would have been alright inside best wishes astonian ,;;

Yes - I thought that. It doesn't seem to have a pub sigan.phil posted May 4, 2008
It looks like the old Deers Leap Trademark of M & B (Its Marvellous Beer) to me.
