The Soho Manufactory

Matthew Boulton's factory at Soho disappeared under housing once the works had closed. Whilst there are maps and some engravings, there are few detailed views of this once famous establishment. In a book entitled Picturesque views of towns, cities etc published by W West in 1834. There is an engraving showing the Factory as seen from Ninevah Road, which shows all the structures on the site.

The same etching of the Soho Works is borrowed from that latest Black Country Society talk/video, being a rare view of the rear of the Soho manufactory from Nineveh Road. It shows that the functional part of the manufactory was still architectural and landscaped.

Attached is a google drive link to my thesis I completed in may. I'm still trying to figure out the forum but I thought as though here would be a good place to post it. This is yet to be published, so let me know if their are any historical references I need to change!
