The Old Crown Deritend - 630 Years Commemorative Token

Hello again,
Yet another Birmingham token I came across.
The Old Crown in Deritend celebrated the re-opening of the pub in 1998 following some restoration works and issued a limited edition of 2000 tokens to commemorate 630 years of the pubs existence, making it the oldest hostelry in the City of Birminghams history.
This particular one is numbered no.908 and is still fully intact in it’s sealed presentation card.

I think there has been a debate on here before what was the oldest hostelry/pub and I think Lad in the Lane was the older?

I know of the Old Crown in Digbeth but never heard of the Lad in the Lane, where would that be?

It's in Bromford Lane Erdington, it was originally called Ye Old Green Man, I have painted it many times. Eric
