10. Walsall Trolleybus 1960

I thought I had taken many more photos of Walsall's trolleybuses but this is all that's turned up to date It's a hybrid vehicle with the power supply of an electric tram and the wheels of an omnibus without the need for rails. It still can't deviate from its wired route but it can pull into the kerb to stop

23. Dorridge 1980s

From the roll of negatives, it is clear that I went to Dorridge with a fully loaded camera and took just two photos (the other one is very like this one). I obviously wasn't impressed. The only notable thing I remember is that it was the southernmost

24. Old Farm 1970s

This was somewhere around Tanworth-in-Arden, where the original Crossroads TV series was filmed. We drove there in a rented Nissan Micra and we marvelled at the technology of how its parcel shelf was raised and lowered by two pieces of knotted string through holes in the corners.
