My Mom was housebound and partially sighted so she relied on WM and even took a little radio to bed under the pillow to use during sleepless nights.
She loved to listen to Carl as she was Brummie too, (even though she was born a few yards over the border in Smethwick!)
I had the good fortune to attend one of his talks and the enthusiasm he has for all things Birmingham is wonderful, the time went so quickly and was so enjoyable.
I wish him "The Best" for his future, and hope that he continues to keep our past alive!
