The Brain Family

My wife's Paternal Grandmother was Fanny Brain (1893-1952) before she married Obediah Rogers (1891-1929) in 1913. On her Marriage Certificate, her Father Frederick (1859-1915) was listed as a Boatsteerer. Apparently, after ww2 she became known as Frances. When my Wife was born in 1947, she lived in Cowper St Aston and was affectionately known to the Family as Granny Fanny.
