Incredible! That's inspired me to branch out my poetic tastes.
Here's my attempt at a tanka poem:

Ash-bright tails once flashed
Through England’s green cathedral woods
Soft paws on old bark
Now grey shadows crowd the oaks
And rust-fur fades into leaves
