THE AUSTIN CHAMP

we had a champ from leavesle's 1960 it was brill. just as fast rev as forward. the engine was a RR b40 engine comparing it to a willies go devil engine i think is like comparing it to a dinky toys engine
The Austin Champ was a military and civilian jeep-like vehicle made by the Austin Motor ... the Rolls-Royce Chassis Division, then based at Clan Foundry in Belper

My suggestion was to use the Austin engine and transmission. Remember the jeep design was at least 12 years old.
