Tett's Cafe

MWS

from Bham
A bit of a long shot but I have a photo of my nan at the seaside somewhere and I don't know where it is. I would guess it's about 1955ish and the only thing that stands out is a sign on the side of a building that says Tett's Cafe four doors down. Anyone ever heard of it?

Thanks.

MWS The photograph of your nan may have been taken in Weymouth, as I think there used to be a Tett`s Café and Bakery in King Street - just off the seafront near the Jubilee Clock. Annie

Well done Annie,

Tetts Restaurant Ltd 24, King Street Weymouth, now a convenience store.

Thank you very much Annie and Colin, that's brilliant. There is a hand on the sign that points down a side road. Thank you.

And thank you for the welcome Jean, though I have been a member for some months. :-)
