Terraces On Barrows Lane

Hi, I live opposite the army reserve centre on Barrows Lane in a row of 6 terraces next to the gospel hall.
I am trying to find if any one has any history about them and how long they have been there, what they where built for etc.
As far as Im a where they where built pre 1888 as they are marked on a old map I have seen of the area of that time.
They where originally just 2 up 2 down houses with an out house that all 6 must have shared. All have downstairs bathrooms that look to have been added in the 1970's.
If anyone has any info, pictures or memories of them I would love to here them.
Here is a link to the street view of the terraces: https://www.google.co.uk/maps/@52.4...4!1sZPUAPpwpnqXB3ZQS_mEEDg!2e0!7i13312!8i6656

Thanks, Pete

hi pete and lucky you...i would love to live in one...cant be certain without more research but i would not think they were built much before the 1800s but a nice age to them and unlike the older houses they were spared the mass demolision of the 1960s and 70s because they were built a lot better so were modernised ie inside bathrooms.new windows and doors etc...will see what i can find out and hopefully other members will be able to help

all the best
lyn
