Does anyone have any information about Ann(e) Tennant. she was born in Stow Market and married David Tennant from Dumfriesshire. She was a midwife in Birmingham from 1841 onwards. I have found her on censuses and in trade directories. Probably before that too. I can't find her maiden name or marriage as it was before 1837. She appears to have had one daughter.
I wonder what training she had. She is listed in one trade directory as a 'bleeder with leeches'. She died in 1874 and lived at 7 Brewery street:)
