Tennal Grange Harborne

Although Alan is listed on the 1911 census at Tennal Grange it is not named on the 1913 map.
I have marked it's position with a green dot and Tennal Hall (named) on the opposite side of the road has a red dot.

By1938 Tennal Hall had gone
By 1950s Tennall Hall built over and the TA centre is marked but not called Tennall Grange on the map.

I'm not sure when it became marked as Tennall Grange. Or when the TA centre officially became Tennall Grange

I understand Alan Napier, Alfred the butler in the Batman TV series, was born at Tennall Grange, Harborne.
Copied from an earlier post - may be of interest?

Famous People of Birmingham: Alan William Napier-Clavering (1903-1988)

Alan Napier, as he was known, was an English actor who was born in "Kings Norton" [actually Harborne where he spent his childhood]. He was related to Neville Chamberlain & the Kenrick family. He trained at the Royal Academy of Dramatic Art and had a very successful career in the West End before emigrating to the States to seek fame and fortune in Hollywood.

However, his real claim to fame was appearing as Batman's butler in 120 episodes of the TV series (1966-1968) and in Batman: the movie (1966). Only a slender link with Birmingham, but such a character I just couldn't resist posting it.
