can anyone help please with electoral rolls look up for the years...1945..46 and 47.....trying to find a james taylor...possably in the aston..hockley area....maybe with a lucy harrington...any help would be appreciated...
In 1945 there is James Taylor living at the Salvation Army Hostel in Ryder St, St Marys Ward and a Nora Harrington living in what appears to be another hostel on the same street.
macca..thank you...im not sure about it as i am looking for a lucy harrington but it does seem a coinsidence that there is a james tayor and a harrington in the same street... although they never married i would like to find james taylor and lucy harrington at the same address between the year 1943 and say 1950 ...think this may be a difficult one.....
macca some time ago i found lucy on the e roll at the library.at 2/22 piddock st in 1947/48 with richard and ellen hall and a frederick hall....i didnt realise she was also there in 45....the plot thickens as so far no mention of a james taylor...
hi macca..looking at my records i have addresses for lucy harrington pretting well covered now. although none of them with a james taylor...the year missing is 1944 is it possible for you to look that one up for me please....
The online electoral rolls don't list 1944, infact I don't think they were published during the war. The years currently available online are: 1912, 1920, 1925, 1930, 1935, 1939 & 1945.
