I am looking for help in locating my father. On release of the 1901 Census, I found that he was adopted by my "grandparents" and recorded as Percy Taylor, 2 years old, born in "Birmingham", supposedly on February 1, 1899.
Since then, I have found two other children, Phoebe 3, living in West Bromwich, recorded also as born there and Mary Ann, in Quarry Bank Staff, but born in Aston.
If these three are related, is there a way to connect them as my search for Percy (Percival) Taylor in Staff, Warwick and Worcester has brought nothing from 8 Birth Certificates and other ID's from deaths recorded and the Census from 17 possibilities?

Sorry that I have not replied earlier, but other things got in the way. Thanks for the lead but I have a birth certificate for that "Percy"

We have a long list of Taylors from Aston in our tree's maternal line going back to Henry Taylor born 1765, there are no Percys listed but there are a number of siblings from the mid 1800s we haven't yet got round to researching and I note that one Henry Taylor born 1861 married a Phoebe Nicholls born 1862 so I suppose Phoebe could be one of the family names carried down the line. E.

I have Taylors in my family I get so far then lose it. My great grandmother was Leah Taylor married to Alfred Bartlett, I know they lived in Highgate Road and she lived until 1953 dying at the ripe old age of 80 not bad. I have been trying to locate siblings who knows maybe Percy is related, if I do find any I'll be back.

I also have Taylors from Aston in my tree. They were pipemakers and were in Birmingham c1801 - 1824 although some may have stayed on when my direct ancesters moved to Gloucester then Shrewsbury.
