Sutcliffe Arthur Bartlett

I'm looking for information regarding Sutcliffe. Born 1885 in Brackley and died in Birmingham in 1970 He seemed to disappear for a few years between 1914 and 1926. He was living in Birmingham in 1927 and I believe working for Birmingham City Council. Any help appreciated! Thanks.

Not much information available between those dates. 1921 census should be released next year.

I assume the 1914 is the birth of his son in Brackley. There is a Bartlett/Collins son (Wilfred) registered in Kings Norton in 1919. They seem to have lived that side of Bham. Wilfred appears to have sadly died in 1931.

He strangely seems to have been listed in the electoral rolls as Bartlett. in 1930 at 6 oak tree lane

also in 1935 at 90 northfield road

and in 1939 at 26 Beech Road

I was confused as well Mike until I looked him up.
He seems to have been in London in 1913 and 1914 after his marriage.

Yes thank you, I have that. It's the period between 1914 and 1927 I'm having trouble locating him. Can't find him on any Forces records either.....

His borth was registered as Sutcliffe Arthur Bartlett so I assume Bartlett was his surname.
Yes you are correct, Bartlett is surname. Have info to 1914 and after 1927, it's the bit in between I'm struggling to find...... but thank you.
