Summer Meet

Hello, I am a new member, I haven't met any of you before, I don't want to make a fool of myself, so how will I know who are members of the forum or just pub customers. ? Thanks
 
The first time I went I wondered that but we seemed to take over and were easy to find + there will be the raffle table so just turn up and we will spot you!!

We usually take over the main bar as you enter , and other customers go to the back bars
 
Hi Bill, we felt a bit nervous on our first visit but shouldn't have been. Everyone was very friendly and 'budged up' for us to sit down. We were soon chatting away. Looking forward to seeing you a week today.
 
Hi all

The meet up is next week and I was looking forward to it, but as I have said, I have a hospital appointment which clashes completely with the time of the meeting.

I hope you all have a great meet up, I'm sure you will as last time was fab.

I will see you all at the next meet up, touch wood, it will not clash with any more hospital appointments.

Had a great time, apart from forgetting my camera - again. Is it me but there does not seem so many members as we used to get, maybe its because its holiday time. I wish to thank Vicki for kindly giving me the bottle of wine she won. Eric
 
First time for my husband, Paul, coming with me and he thoroughly enjoyed himself. He says everyone was very friendly - he even won a raffle prize! He is looking forward to the next meet!! (No I'm not offering as I am a bit busy at the moment). Thanks Vicki.
 
Lovely to see everyone again. Janice, it was good to know Paul felt well enough to come, so pleased to meet him at last. Well done Vicki. Looking forward to see you all at Christmas!
 
Not as many as in previous meets due to other commitments, but a pleasant time was had by all. I did take some photos but may not be able to unload them and resize immediately, so they will probably not go on forum till tomorrow

I was not able to attend, how many people attended, I'm not good in crowds.
 
hi all...so pleased you all had a good time but sorry i could not get back in time for it...didnt get back until turned 4 oclock...well done vicki...great amount raised for our forum funds:) janice i am so glad that paul was well enough to be there and that he enjoyed himself...please tell him i will catch up with him one day:)
