Barrie
hi barrie the sucklings were my grandparents. as i belong to a creative writing group with the U.3.A and we were asked to write about our life as a child. i decided to write about my time at my grandfathers house in longbridge rd in the early 40's. The house i am sure was number 2 and the pop factory was further up the road on the othe side.
As i began i realized that 60years dimmed the memories and due to my mothers illness when i was about 10 and a lack of photos i know little of my past and the area that was my home during the end of the war. I can rember the layout of Gramps house but his and Grans christian names elude me.
So really having never been involved with checking and if i am honest never having had the time or inclination any info about the area is of interest
