looking for birth of above g.g.g grandfather believed born 6-3-1815 (I have seen the post by timesearch in 2010) I have his marriage cert; to charlotte harris 10-10-1843 St Martins,Birmingham. Address 25 navigation street & would like to progress further & find josephs parents . (father joseph,farmer & mother sarah?) when born/marr/died
can't find a birth on the sites I have tried.gratefull for any help details thankyou

Don’t know what information you have , but in 1841 & 1845 directories list:
Stokes Joseph Haughton, grocer & cheese factor, 25 Navigation st
Can look at further dates if you do not have this information

Yes I had this info,it is his birth & parents I was looking for.I know he landed in new york 1846
& his wife then listed as haberdasher/hosier on census but not him
