Does anyone have any photos of this part of Stirchley High Street?

Looking for previous shops to what is now Caneat (the maroon building).

The camera shop to the left of Tanda fashions is intriguing.

If Caneat is 1397 Pershore Road then in 1940 it was a chemist.

A view looking towards the, now demolished, Church of the Ascension. The (former) Lloyds Bank building is still standing. And a Streetview for comparison.

I worked in Stirchley briefly in the early 1970s and what an interesting place it was. Little changed over the decades. Lots of interesting small shops - fascinating!

Certain the bank was a School Outfitters in maybe the 90's...was run by Mrs Baines....think her husband became a councillor at a later date.
