Re: Help find the steward family

He appears on the elctoral roll first after the war in 1945 at 4 Millverton Terrace, Johnstone St, with Margaret Steward and Mary A Healy. In 1947 he is with Margaret Healy and John J. and Marianna Healy. By 1950 it is just Alexander G & Mary J Steward. these are all the same address. By 1955 they are at 87 Edwards Road Erdington and in 1960 at 144 Ludlow road

Re: Help find the steward family

Thankyou for all that info,i am a bit confused as to who is who,is there any way i can find out dates of births for all of these so i can narrow it down abit, thanks again i really do appreciate it.

Apologies, a misstype, it should be Marianna Heally. Other mentions of her are at 89 Edwards Road, Erdington :
1955 Marianna, Mary A. & John J.Heally & Leonard A. & Esther A. Norris
1960 Marianna, Mary A. & John J.Heally
The online rolls end at 1960

Thankyou for getting back to me on that,do you know who was married to who,ive been told Marianna was from italy and married John J Healy but i cant find any marriage records,do you know who was married to who.

Te electoral rolls give no mention of thst I'm afraid/ Maybe one of the magicians who are so expert with the marriage records can help

Thankyou for all the info you have given me,who can help me find out who is married to who,i have no idea where to start.

Hi STEWARD

I believe the Margaret Steward listed at 4 Milverton Terrace with the Healy's is Alexander George Steward's mother.

Edward Steven Steward born 1875 Bethnal Green married Margaret Ryan born 1877 Bermondsey in 1899 Poplar, London

In 1911 census they are living at 35 Marshall Street, Cubitt Town, London E
They have the following children all born Poplar London
Margaret born 1901
Edward born 1906
Samuel born 1908
May born 1910
There is also a Francis G Steward born 1912 Poplar MMN Ryan, Albert J Steward born 1914 MMN Ryan and of course Alexander G Steward born JAS quarter 1916 Poplar MMN Ryan

There is a death for an Edward S Steward born 1875 died 1941 Wallingford Berkshire. It could be that after his death some of the family moved to Birmingham. Margaret Steward died 1956 Birmingham.

Of course all of the above would need to be confirmed with certificates etc.

There is a probate record which helps confirm that the death of Edward Steven Steward in 1941 Berkshire is the correct one.

Alexander George Steward wouldn't have been eligible to vote until he was 21 which would be approx 1937 as the information I supplied is from London Electoral Registers.
