Is someone able to give me any further details of the Stephens at 29 Holte Road in 1920 please?
Very grateful for any assistance

Yes I did look at the streets on the main page for my Wards, Stephens, and tonight I will go through for rmy Byrne and Dudley families.

I know from certs & censii that my families had earlier lived in the streets I have listed.

I note only surnames are on the mainsite. On about page 2 or 3 of the 1920 look up page however there is Spencer request from Pam Smith where a reply has been posted giving the christian/given names of the occupants over 21.

That info would no doubt be very helpful in identifying the correct families and I THOUGHT was the purpose of the look up site!!!!

If there is some other way of accessing the given/christian names it wasn't available last evening! But ovbviously that is the critical info I needed.

Thanks
Marlene

Marlene, there are no christian names available on the 1920 listings supplied by John Colin, apparently there were some copyright or data protection issues involved. It is a pity for all of us doing family history research.

Thanks very much for the explanation - the dreaded 100 year rule perhaps??
Enjoy the festive season

Just come across this old thread and my uncle Harry was a Stevens or Stephens but he lived at 94 Holte road. Jean.
