Astoness, In the picture you have posted, The Headteacher, Mr Stanton is on the left and Mr Abel, the Deputy Head is on the right. I don't know any of the team as I had left Station Road Secondary Modern School a few years earlier.
A week ago I started a thread on this school adding names of teachers I remembered from the time I was a pupil there, but no replies, so far. Hope this thread will be more successful. Anthea.

Lyn, Re: Station Road Secondary Modern School, Harborne, I've just found this thread. This is a picture of - Mrs Heart's class (3.1) she is standing on the left, and Mr Stanton, the Headteacher is to the right of the picture. I think the picture is earlier than 1957 though, as I recognise some of the boys and girls who were in my class and I left the school around 1953. Unfortunately, I have forgotten most of the boys and girls names. Anthea.
do you know anthea that somewhere in the back of my mind i thought i had posted another pic of the school...my fault for not checking the threads so maybe admin could put the two together to make just one thread...you may well be right about the date as sometimes the captions can be wrong..how nice that recongise some of the pupils...
