St Pauls Church, Aston

Hi Michael, I've been into te library today and can confirm St. Pauls is Lozells, the book just fell open at the right page - it was great. But I also found another marriage registered on the other side of my family, which I don't think Ild ever have found. I had the bride down on my tree as Lizzie and her name on her certificate was Leah Elizabeth

I'm a 'newbie' to the site and came across this pic of Gower St School.
I was a pupil there from 1948 until 1952. In our final year we had our 'playtimes' on the roof[notice the railings]
Nobody had ever heard of Health and Safety in those days.

hi every-body
i just want to say i met pete last night at our club and he told me he had already put the picture of the church the forum and i told him i never seen the pic
and he mentioned the warick arms pub ,and he thought it was debateable cos some body said two different places theres onlly one warick arms i know off
and thats down the warick rd just on the verge of solihull town centre it was or if its still there a very large pub as i remember it phil ,
