Lovely photo of St Michaels Lyn. It looked like that when I used to live in Handsworth, but last time I went back I couldn't believe the change in the grounds, rubbish everywhere - that was quite a few years ago now, so I wonder if it has changed, I hope so. It looks so tidy it that photo.
 
judy i think that pic was taken a few years ago...no date to it.. ive posted some pics of st marys too and i plan to visit them both in the near future...

my nan and grand dad were married at st michaels church in 1929
they spent all their married life in mostyn road
have had a look at the church on google street map
its a very inpresive church
