St. Mary's RC School, Aston - 1934

Hi all

I have my father's 'Scholar's Leaving Certificate' dated 26.10.1934 from the above school. Does anyone know anything about the school, its exact location and/or have photographs?

the 1934 directory lists St Marys RC school as being on Wills Road. It is shown on this attached map c 1955 in red.

Sue i used to go to St Marys R C in 1959 if you put in the search box at the top of the page you should find something as well as it being called St Marys it was also known as St Fancis

The church of St Francis which belonged to the school and class rooms is still there it is in Hunters Rd Hockley
