A bit difficult Lyn , as the elctoral roll search seems to be playing up at the moment, so can't be exactly certain. Have e-mailed MHD to tell thenm about it. howeve ri can narrow it down to one of three houses, which are in red on this map

thanks mike..could have sworn i had seen a pic of that one but there was more than one carpenters arms so i am prob getting mixed up..

just a bit of info...the carpenters arms which stood on the corner of my pic 1 was bombed during the war with one injury reported..this could explain why it was gone by 1949..also one death reported in st georges st..

I have located this from the newly released Census (finally. It seems That the National Archives have done a deal with Find My Past for access to the 1921 Census). Costs £3.50 for a brief look. Now, call me simple, but could somebody decipher this address for me please. Pointing it out on a map...

Thanks my nans family moved to 29 from 47 Hampton street which was on the corner (The Birmingham Arms)
